This is a fun piece. It's a hodge-podge of pictures that I have assembled here with my " artist's eyes " working overtime for me just now as my wife and I watched one of the last episodes of this season's " Project Runway " , October 2011 as the four contestants are all going to the final runway show together and not just three of them!
These are some of the pictures that I have here on my computer at home and since I am working again on my ChatArgentina blog I wanted to include what I had here for fun and to draw some more attention to Argentina and vineyards like TITARELLI , NORTON and more. I will include the names here really soon.
As you can see from some of these pictures they are just fun pictures and speak perhaps to the foods and the bright colors of Argentina. All worth looking at to give a sense of the bigger - grand scale - that is Argentina - especially now in it's moment of real glory and final recognition on so many levels indeed.
I hope you like them and that they inspire you to go out to your local, favorite store and buy some of them to take home and enjoy with your meals. That, or that you want to rush out and go to dinner and order up a true Argentinian meal late at night sometime around midnight! All these are great scenarios.
This is Berenice our old rep for the TITARELLI wines that over the years at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ( 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 20008 Tel : 202-363-4265 sales@clevelandparkwine.com www.clevelandparkwine.com, anthony.quinn@clevelandparkwine.com , also now on Facebook at : Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits and on Twitter at : cpwinespirits ) . We have sold so many wines since I became the wine-buyer for the store in 2000.
Stay-tuned for more as I will include more information once that I am back at the store. I am home now here in northern Virginia on Thursday, October 20th, 2011 at 11:04PM and inspired to write about Argentina, it's wines, it's people , it's food and to remember my trip there with Nora Favelukes of the Billington Imports group that gave 120% of her energies, passion andenthusiasm when we went - perhaps a small group of twelve or so - in 1995 and visited CATENA, VALENTIN BIANCHI and also Buenos Aires. Wow, what a long, grand, fantastic trip it all has been!
We have welcomed so many people from Argentina to Cleveland Park Wines and Spirits. Here are but a few. How many do you know/ recognize? Please feel free to comment here at the end of this blog. Cheers e gracias para todos e hasta luego. Anthony ( TONY ) Quinn
